Provides support and comfort to patients, promoting emotional well-being and maintaining a therapeutic milieu. Observes and reports changes in patient condition or behavior promptly to the Registered Nurse. Assists in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff in accordance with behavioral health protocols. Supports nursing staff with basic patient care procedures and unit operations. Assists with the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients as directed. Ensures patient rooms and common areas are clean, organized, and free of safety hazards. Participates in team communication, unit meetings, and ongoing training as required. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred. 2. Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current. 3. Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology. 4.
