As a member of the CareMed team, you will make aging in place possible and help minimize the risk of senior isolation and the effects that come with it. We work within your availability to offer both shorter and longer hours, days and/or evenings, weekdays and/or weekends. Duties: - Provide direct in-home care and support to individuals with disabilities, dementia, or other special needs - Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Prepare meals and assist with meals as needed - Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing - Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities - Follow care plans and ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times Skills: - Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia - Knowledge of ADLs and ability to assist clients with personal care tasks - Familiarity with client rights and the importance of maintaining confidentiality - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals - Ability to provide patient-centered care and adapt to the unique needs of each individual - Knowledge of in-home care systems and procedures - Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others - Valid driver's license and auto insurance required Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. We offer Home Care Aide Training for those who do not currently have a CNA or HCA in Washington State. Shifts range from 2 to 8 hour shifts.
