Position Overview The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) assists patients attain, maintain, and restore health when possible. He/She manages a designated clinical area with key responsibilities. The Patient Care Coordinator organizes and facilitates the care of the patients by making and altering assignments based on patient needs, problem solving with the staff, and leading performance improvement projects. Expectation is for all performed duties to be in accordance with Singing River Health System procedures and policies, accreditation organization, and governing guidance and publications for health care employees. Overview Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: One of the following: Completion of Medical Assistant program 2 of the most recent 4 years’ experience working as a Medical Assistant Basic knowledge of electronic medical records Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Responsibilities Promotes quality and continuity of care by performing clinical and clerical duties, providing physician and/or nurse assistance, maintaining supplies, and provides effective communication to achieve Infirmary Health's standards of quality, efficiency, and desired outcomes. 
Pre-Employment Requirements: We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required . Requirements: Current RN License and ACLS/BLS certification required. Excellent patient care assessment and customer service skills. 
Position Overview The Clinic Registered Nurse performs under the direct supervision of the Physician and the Practice Manager/Administrator. He/She is a liaison between the patient, physician, and various other components of patient care. The RN assists the physician by taking histories and physician orders; scheduling and evaluating referrals; suture removal; dressing changes; and other responsibilities within the RN scope of practice. He/She assists the patient with health education, medication refills, and general questions about their care.
