Responsibilities Surgery Circulator RN is directly accountable to the OR Charge Nurse and the Director of Surgical Services, and indirectly to the House Supervisor. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and older adults. This is a 12-hour shift position. The first 8 hours are compensated at the base rate, and the remaining 4 hours are paid at the applicable overtime rate. Overview JOB SUMMARY A medical assistant functions under the direction, guidance, and supervision of a licensed physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner or RN. A medical assistant assists in coordinating all aspects of the care received in the Urgent Care setting. A limited Radiological Technician performs Radiologic examination on patients of all ages and provides Radiologist with finished exams for interpretation. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: See License and Certification Experience: Urgent care experience preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Vitals, triage categories, medication administration, splinting, competency in lab and radiology orders, knowledge of medication rotation and record keeping. Ability to perform diagnostic radiology exams. Overview JOB SUMMARY The Critical Care Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP), including Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs), will provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients in an acute care hospital setting. The APP will work in collaboration with supervising physicians and the interdisciplinary team to evaluate, manage, and treat patients requiring intensive care. Responsibilities include patient assessment, diagnostic interpretation, performing approved procedures, and providing life-saving interventions as necessary. Must have worked in an acute care environemrnt as an NP or PA for a minimum of one year MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: For Nurse Practitioners (NPs): Current national board certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by ANCC or AACN.
