Completes all required competencies and education to maintain skill level to provide safe patient care. Acts as a liaison between physician and patient, by providing support and comfort to patients and families during clinic visits and procedures as needed, including chaperoning during sensitive examinations. Demonstrates excellent customer service to include providing timely patient response and follow up by phone and electronic means. Manages patient expectations with clear explanations (i.e., informing patients about delays as appropriate) and effectively manages the providers' patient schedules.
