Department Nursing Staffing Services Job Summary The Patient Care Technician performs tasks supportive to delivery of patient care in assigned departments under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. Required Qualifications - Require one of the following: 1.) Florida licensure as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Paramedic, or a military Hospital Corpsman, Combat Medic Specialist, or Aerospace Medical Service Specialist; or National licensure as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT); which must be maintained active during employment; or 2.) Nursing students who are eligible for CNA exam are required to: a.) currently be enrolled in or a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (RN/LPN); b.) if enrolled, have completed the first semester of clinical for ASN/BSN degree or completion of first trimester for LPN; and c.) cannot be currently licensed in the U.S. as a RN or LPN; or 3.) Highlights of the Opportunity: A full-time CRNA is expected to cover 176 shifts annually, with additional pay for extra shifts. Diverse mix of cases including Cardiac, Endo, General Surgery, Neuro, OB, Oncology, Ortho, Robotics, Spine, Vascular, and Level II Trauma. Staffing model planned is 40+ Anesthesiologists, and 100+ CRNAs covering 70+ sites including Cath Lab, IR, Endo. Average anesthesia volume is 55,000 cases annually. Physicians will have oversight of CRNA’s. Incentive/Benefits Package: Competitive compensation package with tiered salary ranges based on years of experience. W-2 position with Health Care System that has an excellent reputation and history of providing quality care. $210K+ starting base salary and up based on experience, $30,000 retention bonuses are offered along with a relocation allowance. Premium pay calculation if a clinician works past the scheduled shift. Premium calculation also applies if a clinician opts to pick-up extra shifts.
