Job Details ChristianaCare is currently recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant to work with our Outpatient Endocrinology Team. The selected candidate will work out of the MAP II practice at Christiana in Newark and the Smyrna practice. The NP/PA will develop, direct, and provide medical management and endocrinology component of care to patients in collaboration with The Endocrinology Specialists physicians. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a great team and provide care to our community! Work Schedule Practice hours are 8:00 to 4:30. This position is day shift, no weekends or holidays. Monitors patients for hemodynamic stability and arrhythmias, and responds appropriately. Maintains knowledge of all interventional supplies: wires, guide catheters, manifold set up, procedural flow of case, etc. Practices and maintains competency with safe radiation exposure Calls for, receives and preps patient for invasive cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures and cardiology tests. Additional patient populations include neurosurgical and nonsurgical neurology, and infants transitioning from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. About Our NICU Provides care for up to 32 critically ill infants, expanding to 46 beds with our upcoming $130 million campus investment in maternal-fetal health and NICU services. Part of a rapidly growing neonatology program — expanded by 50% in the past five years. Integrated with our Advanced Delivery Program, offering immediate, comprehensive care for babies with known congenital conditions. Offers full-spectrum medical and surgical management across all organ systems, including respiratory, cardiac, neurologic, gastrointestinal, and metabolic care.
