Observes patients, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of conditions and significant incidents. Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatment and examinations of patients. Assesses patient vital signs to detect deviations from normal and determines patient progress. Has daily responsibility in areas of personnel assignments, supervises licensed and non-licensed personnel, patient placement, cost containment, patient and family education and customer satisfaction.
