The RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab assists the cardiologists during the entire catheterization process. They care for the patient before and after the procedure. The RN is a specially trained nurse that provides the assistance and functions in different roles during cardiac catheterizations. Scheduling Requirements: 5 days a week, 8-hour day shift. On call requirement. Key Roles and Responsibilities: The ANM is responsible for Responsible for the day to day managerial functions of the unit, under the direction of the Nurse Manager.
