Job Description The Pediatric PACU at Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for an experienced nurse to join their team. This is a PRN (as needed) day shift position. Schedule: 1x8 hour shift per week covering unit hours 0800-2130; could include 10- and 12-hour shifts based on unit needs. This department cares for all types of pediatric patients that require surgical care or anesthesia for testing. They focus on the child and their family for education, preparation and recovery of all types of surgical and anesthetic procedures. The nurses are supported by Clinical Technician staff and Child Life Services. We care for 15-20 patients a day on average, we support both inpatient and outpatient cases.
