Work Shift Day (United States of America) Job Summary: The RN Charge Nurse, Urgent Care is responsible for directing and overseeing the daily activities of the Urgent Care Center on an assigned shift to assure the delivery of efficient, safe and quality patient care. The RN Charge Nurse is a caregiver who takes a patient care assignment. They practice in a clinical environment that is administered by managers, supervisors, and other nursing leaders. The framework for practice is steered by the Wellstar Professional Nursing Practice Model and evidence-based practice and research. The RN Charge Nurse, Urgent Care is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care.
