Under the supervision of our registered nurses, you will ensure our clients receive the best care possible in the comfort of their own homes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Providing assistance with ADLs, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. - Assisting with meal planning and preparation, observing dietary restrictions when necessary. - Assisting with medication reminders in compliance with established care plans. - Performing light housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and laundry to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment for our clients. - Assisting with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety at all times. - Providing companionship and fostering a nurturing relationship with our clients. - Documenting and reporting changes in client's physical condition, behavior, or living conditions to the supervising nurse. - Following HIPAA guidelines and maintaining the privacy of all client PHI (Personal Health Information). - Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. **Skills/Qualifications:** - Completion of state-approved Home Health Aide certification course. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Compassionate and empathetic with a strong desire to improve the lives of others. - Ability to work independently and maintain high levels of patience and understanding. - Physically able to perform the duties of the position, including lifting and physical movement as necessary. - Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. **Education/Experience Requirements:** - High school diploma or equivalent. - Must have valid Home Health Aide certification. - Must pass a background check and drug test. **Physical Demands:** The position involves moderate physical activity such as bending, lifting, and walking. **Characteristics:** Our ideal Home Health Aide is compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to providing top-quality care.
