Their frequent contact with patients assists the nurses in utilizing the nursing process. Qualifications: 1. Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF): Requires successful completion of Nurse Aide Training Program. Maintenance of certification is required. 2. Day (United States of America) Department: 300 - 795500 PPP - Physician Administration Position Description: Responsible for supporting all clinical activities and providers in the provision of medical services. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare patients for office visits (vitals, chief complaint, documentation in EMR) • Assist with exams, medication administration, and point-of-care testing • Coordinate referrals and gather info for medication pre-authorizations • Maintain accurate patient records and follow HIPAA guidelines • Restock exam rooms and manage clinical inventory • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and providers Qualifications: 1. 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred OR completion of a Medical Assistant or equivalent training program preferred. 2. Able to float to other clinics as needed and remain trained and familiar with clinic workflows, procedures, and systems.
