PALS from the American Heart Association is required within six (6) months of hire or transfer for Code Blue Team (626003) and SICU (630400). Effective July 1, 2018, NRP is required within six (6) months of hire or transfer for Code Blue Team (626003). Existing employees are required to have NRP by December 31, 2018. Fellowship RN's must obtain their ACLS, PALS and NRP within six (6) months of hire or transfer. Required Experience: 1-2 years - Critical care/ICU registered nurse experience OR completion of the UF Health Jacksonville Critical Care Fellowship Program. Preferred Experience: Two plus (2+) years of Critical care/ICU registered nurse experience.
