The registered nurse develops, implements and evaluates the nursing plan of patient care and implements the medical plan of care in collaboration with all disciplines. Professional education, training or additional certifications may be required by specialty area. Education Experience Other Graduate of accredited school of nursing Required General Experience Relevant Experience Required Licenses PA Registered Nurse License Required Basic Life Support Required Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff as well as additional specific functions for which he/she has been prepared. Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities. Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Trade School Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation Required or Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required Experience 1 year experience in a Nursing Assistant role Preferred Licenses Basic Life Support Required
