Position: Staff Nurse / Teaching Assistant
Location: Green Lane, PA
Duration: ASAP through June 2026
Schedule: Full-time hours
Setting: School environment
Caseload: School-age students with multiple disabilities

This position requires a dedicated and skilled nurse or licensed practical/vocational nurse to support school-age children with multiple disabilities within a school setting. The role involves providing health care and nursing services that support students physical and educational needs, working collaboratively with educational staff to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing care and health services to students with multiple disabilities in the school setting
  • Monitor students health status and communicate with caregivers and educational professionals as needed
  • Assist with medication administration and manage health care plans in compliance with school policies
  • Support classroom teachers by managing health-related tasks and providing guidance on students physical needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care and student health records
  • Respond promptly to health emergencies or situations requiring immediate attention

Qualifications:

  • Current LPN/LVN or RN license in good standing
  • Experience working in school-based nursing or with children who have multiple disabilities preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and families
  • Knowledge of school health policies and procedures is a plus
