You will obtain and/or coordinate pre-procedural diagnostic testing (EKGs, Labs, IV starts), and analyze pertinent data, communicate findings, and document information accurately. You will initiate and document post-procedure instruction and discharge teaching, involving patient and family/significant other. The responsibility of the CVC RN patient population before and after diagnostic/interventional cardiac catheterizations (cardiac, vascular and electrophysiology procedures) and interventional radiology procedures (line placement, TIPS, biopsies), as well as transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), anesthesia/RN assisted cardioversions and bone marrow biopsies. You will be responsible for utilizing a self-scheduling model, scheduling yourself for three 12-hour day shifts/week, M-F. No holidays or call required.
