Job Summary and Qualifications The cardiac Cath lab RN, under supervision of the Supervisor of the Cardiac Cath Lab and Director of CV services is responsible for performing the daily operations for the cardiac Cath lab. The CCL RN is responsible for direct and indirect patient care, assists the Physician during procedures, responsible to circulate cases, scrubbing diagnostic and interventional procedures and hemodynamic monitoring. Patient care functions will be performed in accordance with the nurse practice act in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the organization. Provides patient education of Cath lab procedures. What qualifications you will need: Current RN license by the State of Texas of from a compact state if you declare the compact state your primary state of residence required. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required. 2+ years of experience in an acute care setting required. 1-2 years of critical care experience required. 1-2 years Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience preferred. Ability to read arrhythmias required. Associate degree required, Bachelors degree preferred or enrolled in a BSN program within 1 year of hire required. We want you to grow your career with us! About the position: The primary functions of the Behavioral Health Registered Nurse are to provide psychiatric evaluation and therapy to home bound patients. Coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team, patient/family, and referring agency; the BHRN also assumes the responsibility for coordination of care. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing. Must have 1-2 years of nursing experience (within the last 3 years preferred) in an acute treatment unit in a psychiatric hospital, psychiatric home care, psychiatric hospitalization program, or other outpatient psychiatric service. Current state license as a Registered Nurse. Current state Driver’s License. Proof of current CPR and Hepatitis consent/declination.
