Assisted residents with support in regards to... Making hydration rounds outside of smoke break times to ensure residents are hydrated well. Ensuring proper liquid diet textures are followed. Ensure hallways are decluttered. Helping residents that participate in supervised/unsupervised smoking during scheduled smoking breaks. Ensure no flammable items are in smoking area during breaks. Round on smoking patio to ensure smoking policies are followed. Redirection to safety areas. Ensuring residents are encouraged to wear smoking aprons. Counting, tracking, and logging resident items before and following smoking breaks. Remaining in line of sight was resident at all times, during smoking times. Scheduled shifts 12hour shifts. Communicating with management as needed. Caregivers do not provide physical care for residents, such as ADL care's or mobility in regards to walking. Caregivers should answer call lights and provide notification to any other staff members that the resident is requesting. Complete any other tasks delegated by management.
