Aspirus Kronenwetter Clinic in Kronenwetter, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse - Triage Nurse to join our team!

DESCRIPTION: The Registered Nurse is a professional who assumes the responsibility and accountability for the provision of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care provided that incorporates evidence-based practice. A key aspect of the work of Nursing is to continually improve the quality of nursing care by collecting and analyzing data.

HOURS: Full time 0.8 FTE, 64 Hours Biweekly, Day Shift

This position may qualify for the Sign On Bonus.

• The Clinic Triage RN is responsible for but not limited to:

1. Taking live calls, triaging patients.

2. Assist providers with patient interventions as needed.

3. Follow up on patient results, education, placing referrals, order prescriptions and DME as needed.

4. Assist with the rooming process as needed.

5. Manage In basket messages, assist staff with tasks requiring an RN.

Experience/Qualifications

Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a nursing program. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
Maintains education and specialty certification requirements specific to the department scope of service.
Previous experience beneficial.
Possesses an active Wisconsin RN nursing license.
Maintains specialty certification as per department scope of service.
Annual accrual of CEUs/continuing education requirements per Education Council recommendation for the given year.
Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.
