The licensed practical nurse assures that each patient visit, and the logistical arrangements surrounding the visit are carried out with courtesy, care, and consistency. Assists the physician/APP in patient care and education to the patient. Triages acute patient symptoms and refers or schedules, as necessary. At a minimum, must perform established Washington Health System Core Licensed Practical Nurse Skills & Responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable and responsible for the provision of and coordination of competent evidence-based care for patients following the nursing process.
- Demonstrates competency in clinical judgment, technical skills and appropriate knowledge based in area of specialty.
- Implements care in a knowledgeable and consistent manner using procedures, protocols, education standards of care and standardized work as established by Washington Health System.
- Shares knowledge and expertise while educating patients and families using established programs, policies, and procedures.
Shift: Monday - Friday daylight hours including 7:30AM-4PM, 8AM-4:30PM, 8:30AM-5PM, and 9AM-6PM. No weekends or holidays!
Hours per Week: 40, Full Time
