Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (APP/NP/PA) *120043: Western, North Carolina

MedAdventures, a division of ICON Medical Network, is looking for a dedicated, compassionate Oncology APP (Advanced Practice Provider, NP or PA) to work with an exceptional organization that we are partnering with in Asheville, NC.This is an incredible opportunity to truly make a difference! If you are looking for a purposeful career, a close-knit work family and a place to call home, this opportunity is for you!This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity.Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the medical director and supervising physician in order to deliver exceptional, meaningful patient care- Assess the physical and psychosocial status of patients to determine and deliver a successful, effective plan of care Provide on-call coverage and performs hospital rounds as needed. Triage patients to determine urgency of physician evaluation.- Comply with all federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to patient privacy, patient's rights, personnel law, safety, labor, and employment law. Adhere to Company and departmental policies and procedures, including IT policies and procedures and Disaster Recovery Plan.- Other duties as directedRequirements:- Current, active Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant license in appropriate state- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant program.- Relevant Master's degree- Minimum 5 years of experience as APRN or PA, specifically in Oncology.- Prescriptive privileges or eligible to apply.- Current certification from ANCC or ONS (AOCN-P)- Current BLSCompensation and Schedule:- Compensation based on experience and will begin around $90K- Significant sign on bonus!- Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM
