A3N – Surgical Short Stay A3N is a fast-paced surgical unit with a 24-bed capacity providing care to infants, children, adolescents, and adults in the pre-operative and post-operative levels of care. A3N receives patients from the following areas: PACU, Emergency Department, Direct Admissions, and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The average length of stay for patients is 4.5 days. The types of patients most frequently served include: Orthopedic, Genitourinary, General Surgery, ENT, Aero-Digestive, Dental, Plastic Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Medical Overflow.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:·Associate/Diploma prepared RNs from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited inst with 2 yr. exp.
·If hired as an external candidate without BSN or MSN, must enroll in a BSN or MSN program within 1 year of hire date and complete program within 5 years of hire date
· Active Ohio RN License. May be required to obtain other state licensure.
·Foreign graduates must have license validated through CGFNS per Ohio Board of Nursing code for Foreign Graduates
Preferred:
·BSN from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited institution or MSN
