Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed practical nurse to join our orthopedic team working in the field of hand & wrist orthopedics providing care to our outpatient clinics. The successful candidate must be able to travel to all assigned orthopedic locations up to 5 days per week Monday-Friday 8-4:30pm, with flexibility to stay till the last patient visit is done. (No nights or weekends!)
The LPN will be responsible for running and maintaining the flow of the clinic, including rooming patients, documenting in EPIC, performing dressing changes and suture/staple removal, preparing injections, scheduling tests, and making follow-up office visits.
The LPN will sort and file documentation from outside providers, coordinate and schedule surgeries, and provide preoperative and postoperative instructions to patients. Additionally, the LPN will be responsible for managing voicemail and following up.
This is a great opportunity to be able to get a change of scenery in different clinics throughout the work week. You'll interact with a diverse patient population, from infants to seniors, and see approx. 50-55 patients in a day. We're seeking a highly organized multitasking individual who excels in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with an upbeat attitude and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

- Graduate of LPN program.
- REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: Current LPN licensure in the state of Missouri and/or Illinois depending on location or received within 3 months from date of hire; Basic Life Support certification (Online BLS certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the BLS requirements).

Salary Range
$20.17 - $30.24 / HourlyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
