October Road Methadone is looking for a RN Nurse Manager
The Nurse Manager will be responsible for:
- Work collaboratively with medical and operations teams to ensure quality of services and engagement goals are met consistently
- Ensure that nursing staff follow detox protocols at all times
- Conduct weekly, documented supervision for all nursing staff
- Work with Program Director to ensure that all nursing staffing needs are met
- Ensure that nursing staff process admissions smoothly and efficiently and can effectively average 1 admission per hour
- Ensure that nursing staff maintain high quality EMR documentation
- Contribute to medical preparation for surveys; interact with state reviewers; provide feedback and documentation as needed
- Properly instructs and guides supervisees in terms of client care
- Responds to and effectively resolves all client and or staff problems/issues in a timely manner
- Communicates all client and staff issues with supervisor
- Maintains positive working relationship with co-workers
- Other duties as assigned
- To ensure the delivery of quality nursing care to all clients through the provision, supervision, direction and management of client care. Strong background in supervisory duties, knowledge of HIPPA laws, state licensing regulations, trainings as required. Knowledge of CARF regulations. This position would need to be available after normal scheduled hours as needed for medical consult.

Ability to sustain a team environment, drive continuous improvement projects, maintain confidentiality, excellent problem-solving skills and excellent communicator within the team framework.
Education:
- Requires valid RN license in North Carolina. (Prefer Bachelors in Nursing)
- 3 or more years of experience supervising medical staff.
- 2 to 4 years of experience working with substance use / psychiatric demographic in residential or inpatient setting.
- Ability to use EMRs effectively.
- Working knowledge of state regulations related to service(s) rendered.
