Student Nurse Extern for Caolinas Medical Center Perioperative
Applicants should include nursing school and anticipated graduation date on resume.
Program details and qualifications:
8-week summer program for rising senior pre-licensure nursing students graduating in Fall/Winter 2024 or Spring 2025.
Current Student Nurse Scholars and students residing in the Charlotte area for summer break are eligible to participate.
Must be available 24 or 36 hours per week to participate.
Program start dates are May 20, 2024, and June 3rd, 2024.
Nurse Aide I or II certification required before March 1, 2024
This paid 8-week program provides one-on-one clinical experience with a RN preceptor and includes nursing professional development workshops and shadowing opportunities.
Applicants will be matched with opportunities available at the facilities.
