Overview
Job Summary: Under the direction of the RN, performs job duties for a nursing assistant. Must demonstrate competency in basic direct patient care and throughput processes. Must demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal, teamwork, organization and prioritization skills. Is responsible for designated equipment and supplies used in the care of assigned patients. Must be flexible in changing assignments, workload and learning new skills. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age and type of the patients served on his/her assigned unit.
What you will need:
- High School diploma or GED
- Training as a Nursing Asst.
- Patients Care Experience preferred
- Current CPR
- C.N.A. (Certified Nursing Assistant)
