We are looking for an LPN to join our occupational health team! The current schedule for this position is 7 am- 4 pm Monday-Friday. $5,000 Sign-on Bonus

What You'll Do:

  • Ensures all patient paperwork and records are reviewed and processed correctly and timely to expedite patient care; processes all required forms and medical records and utilizes software systems to input data and statistics for electronic management of patient and claims; responsible for patient claims processing and management; ensures physician and clinical team are kept informed of all patient care and claim updates.
  • Provides delegated patient care (i.e. Data collection, administer medications, applies and changes dressings, cleans wounds, takes vital signs, etc.) to assigned group of patients utilizing established standards of nursing care; provides nursing services in accordance with industrial and occupational health standards; provides emergency nursing care to industrial injury outpatients; ensures duties are completed in a timely manner, reported and documented; under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
  • Sets up, stocks and maintains supplies and equipment as needed for patient care; checks supplies for outdated items and returns to appropriate department when necessary; performs Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standard audiometric screens, collects specimens for drug/alcohol screens; collects blood and/or urine as ordered; performs respiratory fit testing; performs breath alcohol tests as requested.
  • Documents nursing care given using established forms; accurately reports results of medications and treatments; recognizes potential/actual complications and reports and records them immediately; documents all progress in patient medical records; contributes to planning & implementing patient educational/instructional needs as delegated by and observed by the Registered Nurse.
