How you’ll make an impact in this role

Delivering professional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.
Selecting and handling the necessary instruments and supplies for various procedures.
Monitoring, recording, and communicating patient status while managing overall care before, during, and after procedures.
Preparing operating rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment for clinical use.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
One or more of the following required:
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Minnesota Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure is dependent on state associate works in.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State. Licensure is dependent on state associate works in.

Education:

Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of
hire required.

We Are Hiring: Clinical Nurse II- PACU- WMH- 0.6 FTE Schedule: PACU hours of operation are 0730-2130. PM Shifts available 8, 9 or 10 hours with end time of 2030 or 2130. Start time dependant on length of shift. PACU Call is approximately 1 night/week (Monday-Friday) and approximately 48 hours on the weekend in a month. Weekend call is either 24 hours (Sat or Sun only) or 48 hours beginning at 0700 on Saturday through Monday at 0730. Join a group of well experienced nurses and patient transporters! The Post Anesthesia Care Unit provides immediate care for patients recovering from anesthesia. Nurses monitor patients as they recover from procedures requiring general anesthesia until they are admitted as an inpatient or return to Day Surgery for discharge home.
