Position Description: RN - Department Pool - PACU

BayCare Health System is currently seeking a PRN/Pool Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate PACU team at Mease Dunedin Hospital.

The RN Responsibilities Include

  • Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
  • Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
  • Professional accountability and development.
  • Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care assistance and supervision to a child.
  • Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Qualifications

Certifications and Licensures:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
  • RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
  • ACLS Certification is required
  • Nurse Specialty certification is preferred

Education

  • Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
  • Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred

Experience

  • 18 months of RN experience is required. At least one year of RN experience in PACU, critical care, and/or emergency department is preferred.
