How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Assists residents with daily personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring, and monitoring vital signs while maintaining privacy and dignity.
  • Supports nursing and therapy teams by carrying out care plans, aiding in rehabilitation and restorative programs, and reporting changes in resident conditions.
  • Follows facility policies, safety standards, infection control practices, and ethical guidelines while protecting confidential health information.
  • Promotes quality care through teamwork, professional communication, accurate documentation, and a commitment to the facility’s mission and core values.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Successful completion of a Certified Nurse Aide program and/or NYS Current Certification.
  • Certification must be current and the C.N.A. must be in good standing with the NYS Aide Registry required.

Education:

  • H.S Diploma or GED preferred.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum Experience: On the job training provided.
  • Six months Nurse Attendant experience in a hospital/skilled facility or equivalent clinical experience as determined by the Director of Nursing Services, preferred.
