Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced Quality Registered Nurse based at our facility in Rahway, New Jersey. The Quality Registered Nurse will focus on ensuring high standards of patient safety and clinical care through quality assessments, documentation reviews, and the development of performance improvement initiatives. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, provide education on best practices, monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, and assist in data analysis for quality reporting and improvement strategies. This individual will play a critical role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the hospital.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical nursing knowledge with proficiency in patient safety and quality improvement processes
- Experience in health care compliance, data analysis, and reporting
- 3-5 years' healthcare experience within a hospital required
- Must demonstrate team building and collaborative practice behaviors,
- Must demonstrate an understanding of performance improvement and quality outcomes' management.
- Leadership experience a plus
- Prior experience in quality and performance improvement roles within a hospital or health care setting preferred
- Proficiency in communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Keen attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Master's degree in Nursing, Public Health, or a relevant field is a plus
- Familiarity with regulatory standards such as Joint Commission and CMS guidelines
