Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and guiding visitors as a unit receptionist
  • Assist with direct/indirect patient care under supervision of licensed nurse
  • Clinical knowledge to perform general interventions for the patient whether the need is taking pulse, helping with grooming, getting a lunch tray, or acting quickly in an emergency
  • Responsible for ensuring proper assimilation of information between hospital personnel, nursing staff and others
  • Assists with data entry on patient information into Cerner Database
  • Perform varied daily job tasks based on the patient load and physician orders coming into our unit.  
  • Maintains unit supplies inventory and assist with stocking linens, IV trays and other unit supplies.  
  • Schedule lab work, tests, and x-rays per physician orders
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations, adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
  • Maintain HIPAA confidentiality at all times protecting patients as well as hospital operations

Job Requirements:

  • 1+ years Clinical experience 
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate OR Current Certified Medical Assistant Certification
  • Current BLS Required 
  • Basic computer skill

License/Certification(s)

  • Required: CNA Certification New Mexico OR CMA
  • Required: Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Required: Ability to work flexible hours, which may include days and/or nights, evenings, holidays, weekends, and on-call.

Guthrie/TC3 CNA Trainee - Resident Care Facility - Per Diem

Guthrie is excited to announce that we have partnered with TC3 to sponsor tuition for select students in the 4-week CNA program. Limited sponsored spaces will be available for the June 2026 class, and we are currently accepting applications. Classes are held at TC3 in Dryden ( clinical locations are determined by TC3 and are normally held at areas around the school) Schedule: This is a Full Time 1 Month program which begins June 2nd and finishes June 24th.
