Job Duties: Performs and interprets automated and manual testing procedures on blood, urine and fluid specimens in the laboratory. Evaluates specimen/test orders for acceptance/rejection according to guidelines; accessions specimens accurately. Meets established TAT and productivity standards. Recognizes and resolves errors/discrepancies or problems and notifies appropriate personnel. Is proficient with all IT systems; can order, cancel, retrieve result, review work lists, sample collections, and test status.
