The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join and lead our Walk in Clinic team at the Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC), an award-winning Level II Trauma Center, The Advanced practice provider (APP) manager fulfills both a leadership and provider role within the Walk-in Clinic. The APP manager serves as a clinical leader to Walk-in Clinic staff while ensuring effectiveness of patient care services provided on the ANMC campus. In collaboration with the Nurse Manager and SCMD, the APP Manager helps oversee day-to-day clinical operations of the Walk-in Clinic.

The Walk in Clinic is open 365 days per year. We see approximately 50 – 80 patients per day, 12-20 per provider. Responsibilities include completing comprehensive histories and physical exams; ordering and interpreting tests; prescribing medications; developing treatment plans; and educating patients/families on treatment options. Required procedures include, I&D’s, Sutures, wound care, splinting.

Work Schedule: Full Time 40 hour work week, full time staff work 2 – 8’s and 2 -12’s per week OR 6 -12’s and 1- 8 per pay period.
