Qualifications NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS Education: A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited school of nursing License/Certification: Certified Nurse-Midwives must be Registered Nurses, hold current certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) and must have graduated from a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by the ACNM Accreditation for Midwifery Education (ACME).
