Job Description​

We are hiring an Advanced Practice Provider for our Urgent Care location at Shoal Creek in Kansas City, MO. This is FT opening, Monday-Friday, 4x10 hour shifts, 9:00 am-7:00 pm with variable day schedule.

Position is accountable for advanced nursing practice in the care of assigned patient populations. Responsible for collecting and analyzing client health data identifies appropriate expected outcomes development and implement plan of care provide comprehensive clinical coordination of care and case management provide consultation to influence plan of care for clients enhance the abilities of others and effect change in the system uses prescriptive authority procedures and treatments in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations evaluate clients progress in attaining expected outcomes conduct nursing research provide education to patient family and nursing staff and case manages high risk patients. See department policy regarding scheduling requirements.

Minimum of 2 years experience as an Advanced Practice Provider required. Will not consider new graduates.

Job Description​ Cardiology Job Description This Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) position is a full-time role located primarily at: St. Luke's East. The primary patient population is adult. This role is clinic only seeing general cardiology patients and patients with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS). No inpatient rounding. No weekends or holidays. Monday-Friday, 4x10 hour shifts, 7:30am-5:30pm. Variable day schedule. The employee will be responsible for the medical management of the Cardiology patient population within the scope of an Advanced Practice Provider. The term Advanced Practice Provider encompasses Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Clinical Nurse Specialists. The employee will have successfully completed a Master’s degree (or higher level of educational program) and have met the requirements for the respective State Board(s) (Missouri and Kansas). The APP will hold and maintain a national certification and licensure as required by State Boards and Saint Luke’s Health System, as well as other certification as obligatory for this role. Cardiology disease processes the APP will be expected to accurately diagnose and treat include general cardiology with a focus subspecialized patient populations as indicated.
