How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Provide direct patient care under nurse supervision, following healthcare organization policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Carry out assigned nursing tasks such as assisting with activities of daily living and measuring vital signs as directed by the preceptor.
- Observe patient conditions and responses; accurately document and report findings to the preceptor or appropriate healthcare staff.
- Support care plan development and assist with additional duties, including patient transport, preparing for diagnostic services, and basic environmental services.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Must be accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer and begin classes within 90 days of date of hire/transfer required.
