Job Summary
Manages the delivery of ambulatory patient care, which typically includes nursing, and may include laboratory, radiology, dental, etc. Facilitates the flow of patient care activities; may also participate in practice or center management operations.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $191,800 - $256,600 (Annual Rate).

Required Qualifications
- Strong clinic/center patient care management skills
- Practice management knowledge in scheduling, customer service methods, regulatory compliance, accreditation requirements, and information technology
- Broad knowledge of the patient population served and requirements for delivery of services
- Strong interpersonal skills to create and maintain effective communication and collaborative decision-making
- Strong leadership, fiscal, and operations management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, management, and multidisciplinary staff
- Ability to create and maintain a goal-oriented environment of teamwork and collaboration
- Knowledge of healthcare information technology and patient care workflows/processes
- Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements, legislation, accreditation, licensing, and compliance environments
- Proven ability to organize work, manage multiple priorities, and delegate tasks efficiently
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Master’s Degree in Nursing.
- Knowledge of current and emerging best practices and technologies in the clinic/center healthcare industry
- 3–5 years of pediatric clinical experience
- 2–3 years of progressive supervisory experience
- Registered Nurse in the State of California and / or licensure in relevant clinical specialty.
- BLS
- PALS - Preferred
- Certified Pediatric Nurse or Pediatric Nursing Certification (PED-BC) - Preferred
