About the Role:Pineknoll Rehabilitation Centre is seeking Licensed Nurses-
To supervise/manage personnel on his/her unit
That will be responsible for total care of all residents on his/her unit and supervision of direct care staff to ensure residents’ needs are met.
To review daily assignments of nursing staff on the unit to assure that assigned duties are consistent with ability and training.
That can initiate and update the nursing care plan for residents on the unit.
About you: The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:
Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current license by the State of Indiana in good standing.
Prefer at least one year’s experience in Long Term Care or related field.
Must display good emotional health and be capable of extended periods of standing, bending and heavy lifting.
Ability to maintain professional attitude, including such areas as confidentiality, concern for all people, cooperativeness and conscientious use of time.

Salary Statement : The salary for this position traditionally starts at $45,422.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience. A Day in the Life: Program Administration Support Prioritize and organize the daily care of individuals to ensure consistent and effective service delivery. Make care assignments and assist in creating treatment plans in collaboration with other clinical staff to meet individual needs. Provide direct observation of individuals with specific monitoring situations (e.g., line-of-vision or one-on-one precautions) to ensure safety and therapeutic engagement. Direct support staff to coordinate workflow and communicate problems to unit supervisors to maintain smooth operations. Complete required documentation of nursing notes, transfer forms, and other records to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Provide orientation and support to staff on the unit to maintain continuity and quality of care. Program Management Support Provide ongoing assessment and documentation of individuals' physical and psychosocial status from admission to discharge to inform care decisions. Administer medications and treatments according to state-operated health care facility policies and procedures to support recovery and wellness. Develop and implement nursing care plans for acute medical problems to address evolving needs. Complete medication administration supervision monitors and clinical observation notes for support staff to ensure compliance and quality Educate individuals and family members regarding medication, procedures, and treatment goals and objectives to promote understanding and engagement. Respond and intervene in emergency situations and with agitated individuals to maintain safety and therapeutic environment. Ensure proper safety and infection control standards are met for the unit to protect staff and individuals.
