WORK SCHEDULE
The Heart Institute at UW Medical Center – Montlake & SLU provides comprehensive cardiovascular care across the full spectrum of heart health. Our services include general cardiology, cardiac imaging and diagnostic procedures, cardiac surgery, Electrophysiology and arrhythmia management, interventional cardiology, structural heart services, advanced heart failure and transplant, ventricular assist devices (VADs), adult congenital heart disease management, cardio-oncology, cardiac psychiatry, cardiovascular genetics and other advanced services. Our teams deliver world-class, patient-centered care supported by cutting-edge research and multidisciplinary collaboration.

- Day Shift, M - F, no weekends or holiday shifts allowing for work life balance in the beautiful northwest community

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, surgeons, interventionalists, advanced practice providers, specialty nurses, research staff, and administrative partners
- Provide ongoing oversight of clinical standards across the outpatient cardiology clinics and procedural echocardiography departments
- Support high-quality, coordinated care for a complex and diverse patient population
- Mentor, coach, and support a large team of RNs and Medical Assistants
- Partner with the clinic manager to oversee daily operations and workflow efficiency
- Float between subspecialty areas and the Echo procedural department across both campuses to provide clinical coverage and leadership
- Support care coordination across a wide range of subspecialties including Adult Congenital Heart Disease, Advanced Heart Failure, Aortopathy/Marfan, Cardiac Surgery, Cardio-genetics, Cardio-oncology, Complex Coronary, Electrophysiology, General Cardiology, Mechanical Circulatory System (Ventricular Assist Device), and Structural Heart Services
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and patient-centered care
- Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington
- At least 2 years of inpatient or outpatient cardiology/telemetry experience
- Current BLS & ACLS
