- Meets Medical Staff by-laws Requirements for Collaborative Protocols
- Minimum of two years experience in a Orthopedic/Neurological service is preferred
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care to orthopedic and neurosurgical patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up
- Perform daily rounds, document progress notes, and manage ongoing clinical needs
- Assist with preoperative and postoperative management, including patient education and discharge planning
- Conduct consults in collaboration with attending physicians and surgical teams
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, imaging, and laboratory studies
- Participate in care coordination, interdisciplinary meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and regulatory standards
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
**For Nurse Practitioners:**
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- National Board Certification is required
- Master's degree from an accredited **Physician Assistant** program
- Current **PA license** in the state of NJ
- Certification by the **National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)**
- Current **BLS** and **ACLS** certifications (AHA preferred)
- If Nurse Practitioner (APRN): Current **Registered Nurse (RN)** and **Advanced Practice Nurse (APN/NP)** licensure in the state of NJ
- If Physician Assistant (PA): Current **PA** licensure in the state of NJ and certification by NCCPA
- Current CDS & DEA registration in the state of NJ
- Current **BLS** and **ACLS** certifications (AHA or American Red Cross)
