JOB SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Program Director or Designee, functions as part of a team providing client-centered, strength-based, trauma-informed rehabilitation and recovery services to consumers that relate to the care, nurturing, treatment, education, socialization, habilitation, recovery/healing and support of adults and transition age youth diagnosed with a mental illness and in some instances, co-occurring substance abuse disorder. The Department of Homeless Services (DHS) seeks to recruit (6) Administrative Director of Social Services, Level M-I, to function as PATH Managers at the PATH diversion program within the Shelter Intake Division. As an Administrative Director of Social Services, Level I (M1) the selected candidate will be responsible for the direct management and supervision of a large team of staff responsible for reviewing applications for clients seeking access to City-run shelters and other housing administered by DHS, as well as managing the client flow and referral process, including the pre-screening and registration of applicants’ interviews, and the investigation process.
