Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver direct patient care in accordance with hospital policies and clinical standards.

· Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection control guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Overview ***$20,000 Sign On Bonus Available*** Full Time, Day Shift, Five 8-hour shifts per week (6:00am - 2:30pm) Some weeknight on-call will be required. *Previous Critical Care experience strongly preferred. The Cardiac Recovery Registered Nurse position primarily provides pre-operative care prior to surgery, and will fill-in in Recovery as needed. Patient population is typically cardiac, phase 1 recovery. Sepsis Nurse Navigator

Overview The Sepsis Navigator serves as a clinical leader and subject matter expert to improve early identification and management of sepsis patients within the Emergency Department and across the continuum of care. This role drives SEP-1 bundle compliance, facilitates education, supports data abstraction and analysis, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure adherence to evidence-based sepsis practices. Responsibilities Program Leadership and Coordination Leads Emergency Department initiatives to ensure consistent application of evidence-based guidelines for sepsis care (e.g. Surviving Sepsis Campaign and CMS SEP-1 guidelines). Partners with Quality, Education, Informatics, Nursing and Physician Leadership to implement sepsis protocols, screening tools, and clinical decision support. Facilitates sepsis-related projects, audits, and policy updates in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Disseminates written and verbal information to key stakeholders about the sepsis program and outcomes.
