Position Overview:  

The Clinical Nurse - SANE Project Coordinator offers project management support to leaders and team members, ensuring successful implementation of initiatives. This role involves coordinating training programs, clinical hours, and ongoing education efforts, overseeing grant resources, reporting, and financial management. The coordinator collaborates with learning institutes and develops strategic relationships with community partners, ensuring quality customer service and professional representation of the team and department. The ideal candidate leverages clinical expertise and project coordination skills to advance organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Support project management activities for departmental and organizational initiatives.  

• Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, clinical hours, and ongoing education programs.  

• Oversee grant resources, ensure accurate reporting, and manage financial aspects related to projects.  

• Collaborate with learning institutes and develop strategic relationships with community partners.  

• Ensure delivery of high-quality customer service and maintain professional representation of the department.  

• Assist in planning and executing community outreach and engagement activities.  

• Monitor project progress, document outcomes, and support continuous improvement efforts.  

• Attend and Support Monroe County Sexual Assault Response Team (SART)

Qualifications & Requirements:  

• Education:  

  - Bachelor’s Degree required.  

  - Master’s Degree preferred.  

• Experience & Skills:  

  - 3-5 years of relevant experience,

 -  3-5 years of forensic nursing experience required.  

  - Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  

  - Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.  

  - Ability to manage multiple priorities and develop strategic relationships.  

• Licensure & Certifications:  

  - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).  

  - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).

Fill out and complete accident/incident reports & submit to Director as required. Perform routine charting duties as required & in accordance with established charting & documentation policies & procedures. Prepare & administer medications as ordered by the physician. Develop & maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel, as well as other departments within the facility to ensure that nursing services and activities can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the residents. Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the unit and shift. Receive/give the nursing report upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours. Make rounds with physicians as necessary. Administer professional services such as: catheterization, tube feedings, suction, applying and changing dressings/bandages, packs, colostomy, and drainage bags, taking blood, giving massages and range of motion exercises, etc., as required. Monitor your assigned personnel to ensure that they are following established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies. Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information. Report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information. Ensure that all nursing care is provided in privacy and that nursing service personnel knock before entering the resident’s room. Provide IV & IV site care as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
