How you’ll make an impact in this role Coordinate seamless patient visits by preparing treatment environments and conducting initial screenings to ensure every individual feels welcomed and ready for care Capture the patient’s story by accurately documenting vital signs and care journeys, providing the medical team with the high-quality data needed for precise clinical decisions. Facilitate essential treatments by transcribing and processing orders for labs and imaging, ensuring patients receive the follow-up services they need without delay. Support the clinical flow by managing front-of-house communications and maintaining medical supplies so the care team can remain focused on the patient. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Certified Medical Assistant obtained within 4 Months (120 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Summary Under direct supervision of LIP (licensed independent practitioner), RN (registered nurse), NM/ANM (nurse manager/assistant nurse manager) or other licensed designee, functions as a member of the patient care team. Performs technical, patient care and related clerical functions in the clinic setting by coordinating all elements of the patient visit. These are medications that can only be administered by certified medical assistants or medical assistants who have completed a formal accredited training program.
