Position: RN Supervisor – Evening Shift
Location: Briarcliff Manor, NY
Schedule: Full-Time | 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Salary: $110,000 – $115,000 annually

About the Role

Briarcliff Manor Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care is seeking an experienced and compassionate RN Supervisor to lead our evening nursing team. This leadership role is critical in ensuring high-quality resident care, staff support, and compliance with all regulatory standards in our skilled nursing facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) and Associate Director of Nursing (ADON) in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating daily nursing operations

  • Ensure nursing staff comply with job descriptions, facility policies, and professional standards

  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels to support quality resident care

  • Conduct routine rounds throughout the facility and communicate findings to nursing leadership

  • Participate in regulatory surveys and inspections

  • Oversee medication administration and treatment schedules for accuracy and compliance

  • Provide direct nursing care as needed

  • Participate in resident assessments, care planning, and discharge planning

  • Welcome and support newly admitted residents

  • Make rounds with physicians as needed

  • Address staff concerns, complaints, and grievances appropriately

  • Participate in annual performance evaluations for LPNs and CNAs

Requirements

  • Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State

  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home, or healthcare setting

  • At least 6 months of rehabilitative and restorative nursing experience

  • Nursing home experience required

  • Knowledge of SigmaCare preferred
