Pay range for this position is $41.85 - $61.63/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is a Salaried position.


Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The Nurse Residency Site Coordinator plays a crucial role in the transition to practice programs at their facility or service area. The Site Coordinator ensures the transition to practice program is consistently operationalized at the facility site. The Site Coordinator provides consultation to the education departments and helps develop and monitor education plans for residents participating in the program. The Site Coordinator also functions as a facilitator in the ministry-wide transition to practice and professional development programs.


Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing
  • Experience: 3 years of clinical experience
  • Licensure/ Certification: Basic Life Support Certification (AHA); Nursing Professional Development - Board Certified Certification (NPD-BC) within 1 year of hire
  • Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
  • Experience or Education in adult learning theory.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: MSN, BSN with other Master’s degree, or DNP preferred
  • Experience: 5 years of clinical experience; 2 years of experience with curriculum design, adult learning/education, and/or simulation
