Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in a ventilator-dependent unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Monitor and manage patients'ventilator settings, oxygen therapy, and other medical equipment

  • Perform routine vital signs and obtain laboratory data as needed

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician

  • Document patient care and progress in accordance with facility policies and procedures

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in the state of Ohio

  • Vent unit experience of at least 1 year

  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

  • Strong clinical and organizational skills
