REGISTERED NURSE (RN) – FULL TIME
Job Summary
The RN coordinates and supervises nursing care on the assigned unit, ensuring appropriate staffing, timely medication administration, and high-quality resident care.
Qualifications
-
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
-
Current Illinois RN license
-
Working knowledge of general nursing practices
-
Supervisory experience preferred
-
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
-
Ability to effectively supervise and collaborate with staff
-
Proficient in spoken and written English
Requirements

Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills

Compassionate, professional, and resident-focused

Knowledge of JCAHO, OBRA, IDPH, and HFS regulations
Key Responsibilities
-
Assign and supervise nursing staff based on unit needs
-
Administer medications, injections, and treatments per physician orders
-
Conduct daily rounds and ensure Care Plan compliance
-
Communicate with physicians and families regarding resident status
-
Maintain accurate documentation and narcotic accountability in the EMR
-
Ensure infection control, safety standards, and policy compliance
-
Complete incident reports and coordinate resident transfers as needed
